The entertainment industry spans many diverse fields, from transportation (for equipment or staff), accommodation services, theatre and club venues, lighting, costumes and props, make-up artists, print and media outlets, advertising companies and music production.
LPA Entertainment Australia Launched Showjobs.net Last year to test the waters and see what job seekers and employers in the industry were wanting and from our market research the number one word that stood out was “Choice” and our development team have done that with Showjobs.net Australia.

Trevor White, General Manager of LPA Entertainment Australia recently announced the launch of the new entertainment industry employment site, Backstagejobs.com.au.
LPA Entertainment Australia’s first project was www.showjobs.net and the new site was created in response to the growing demand for a second employment website dedicated to the entertainment industry.
In the 18 months since www.showjobs.net was launched, an increasing number of clients advertised technical- based jobs or positions relating to backstage work. Thus, after months of market research the new brand backstagejobs.com.au. was created.
The site enables job-seekers to search for jobs for free. In addition, there are no membership fees and subscribers receive a free weekly bulletin.
The Australian-owned and operated site has great new features, such as an Industry Links page, where businesses can advertise their services for free. Advertisers are encouraged to take advantage of the free job-posting promotion valid until 31 October 2008.
